2022 ONLINE CEU
As required by 20 O.S. 1503.1(A), “Every certified shorthand reporter and every court reporter temporarily employed by the district court, Workers' Compensation Commission, Workers' Compensation Court of Existing Claims, or Corporation Commission shall annually complete at least four (4) hours of continuing education approved by the State Board of Examiners of Certified Shorthand Reporters.”
Please note that the statute no longer requires one hour of court rules & procedures but still requires a total of four hours. We have worked diligently to provide you with an affordable, convenient webinar. When continuing education is purchased through OCRA, you strengthen our state association and ensure that Oklahoma has a strong, unified, local voice advocating for the profession
If you have not completed the statutorily mandated four hours of continuing education this year, OCRA is offering a total of four hours of CE credits via on-demand webinars. You may place your order online at https://ocraonline.org/events. An email will then be sent with instructions on how to watch the webinars. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you watch on a computer and not a mobile device so that calls, texts, and notifications do not interfere with the webinar.
You will complete a very short test online. The test will automatically be scored and, if successfully passed, a Certificate of Completion will be generated. You must have access to high speed internet for streaming purposes. GoTo Webinar tracks the length of time you watch. YOU MUST WATCH THE ENTIRE WEBINAR TO RECEIVE PROPER CREDIT. If you use the fast forward function, it will count against the time watched and you might not receive appropriate credit. Once you start the webinar, DO NOT CLOSE the window.
